Living Minerals                  [Swarovski x MABD]
Living Minerals explores bringing Swarovski's Waterschool to London with an in-store water filtration system installation. We propose local waste materials, such as fruit peels and oyster shells, could be transformed into bioadsorbent powders which could act as biofilters, making unsafe water pure enough for agricultural use. The installation would be accompanied by an activity sheet, aimed at teenagers, encouraging experimentation with
this simplified water filtration method to raise awareness of how natural waste can be used to aid in the treatment of polluted water.
