Slimy Futures [0.1]

Slimy Futures explores the fusion of slimy microbes and textiles craftsmanship, developing a range of innovative materials crafted for interior applications. Born amidst lockdown restraints, this project has been adapted to a makeshift home studio. Our initial aim was to explore bioplastics as a solution for bacterial cellulose's lack of water resistance, proposing an innovative textile alternative to leather and plastic.
